Bought my current car (first time Merc owner) because it was a dead good price, cracking condition and ultra low mileage on it.

The reason was to get a decent car on a low budget and to save money.

Fuel consumption was better by about 50% on previous car (2.5i 16V GT Auto 626) and insurance was £250 less a year!

Since joining here I have spent out for

Cup holder
Heater Rings (Thanks Hi Low)
Personalised reg
Avant garde grille insert
Ally look pedals
wiper blade (admittedly this was an essential)

Am now scouring for cheap, decent alloys which I know with tyres will do me for at least £400 at the bare minimum.

Got to stop buying stuff for the car....admittedly it is probably the nicest car I've owned, but it's defeating the object of buying it!

Is there an MB annonymous club anywhere??

Do you have the model name for your alloys - if they're 16" 5 spoke are they Adharaz? Our new addicted member could then look up the name - bound to find a pic of them somewhere prob on here. If they are Adharaz - then that's what's on Edna

You can by a Merc cheap that looks expensive, once purchased you realise it might be expensive. Then your first service looms large, you now KNOW it's expensive.

Still, that big grin you get as soon as you jump in is priceless isn't it? :bannana:
