I thought it might be a great buy, but I would want to now the ins and outs of who built, how they built it, every specialised part and the builder's track record before I spent a large sum on this kind of custom engine.
I suppose it's a trade off - have it done yourself and know all the above, or trust that someone has done it thoughtfully, skillfully and carefully.

Also, would that kind of power would required gearbox, diff, driv eshaft and prop shaft strengthening of some kind?

Could prove insane once installed in any 124 or just imagine it in a 190E!
