They take you (and the pirate up front) straight to the destination shown on the satnav...

I didn't realise the RAF still had that many aircraft in total, never mind that many Hawks!

Not really, but the way this government is going, that may well be the case for future fly pasts.

Going back to the video posted by the OP, the only think which detracted from an otherwise excellent video was this bit, which really should have been accompanied by Wagner's "Ryde of the Valkyries".
