Son just had his Sony (Playstation) account hacked.
Four different amounts added to someones "wallet" and spent on kids games , £20 x 2 and £50 x 2.
I have his Sony account linked to my PP account so £70 came out our PP account (entire balance) the remainder was due to come out of the backup bank account we have linked to PP but hopefully removing my bank card from my PP account has stopped this.
Contacted Sony (eventually) who froze the account / raised a dispute for unauthorized payments through PP / contacted the bank who said they were unable to block any payments requested by PP which i found strange even after explaining the situation ??
