Welcome to the forum. I bought a W209 CLK 2 weeks ago and love it. Do your homework carefully (rust, valeo rads etc), find a good one and enjoy it. If this link works you can read what people said to me.

i would love a 209 but it will be a 208 about a 2000 reg

I'm sure there be others along with advice. My 1999 W202 was getting quite rusty. I did drive W208 230K when I bought the 202 (2 1/2 year ago). It was nice but didn't quite blow me away. Maybe try 2 or 3 and see what you think.
