sound deadening - worth it?

What real difference is this likely to make in a w202 with an aftermarket ice install? i thinking of doing the front doors, and parts of the boot.

at the moment, its really the bootlid, spoiler and number plate that vibrates and is noticeable...

going to use a product like dynamat extreme....

Hi, you can buy other stuff from Wooly's trim which is much cheaper and I'm sure just as effective as Dynamat. I've put it on several of my Mercs' bootlids just to stop them closing with a clang. From memory, it's just under 20 quid for a 1 square metre sheet.

got the extreme stuff now, so will fit in a couple of weeks and report back the difference (if any!)
