South London to Silverstone run...

i igure the M25 to the m40 towards oxford then a413 throug buckingham before getting on the a43 to silverstone village.

I have done a aa thingy but find thema bit rubbish compared to advice from those with personal experience.

If you are going up the M40, you don't really want to go via Buckingham. Stay on the M40 till J10 then enjoy the dual carriage way bypass put in for easy access to Silverstone.

i've heard the M1, then junction 15A is a fairly good route too?

Anywhere in the vacinity of Silverstone will be swarming. You are a petrol head, going to a race track in Northamptonshire, home of the speed camera. Don't even think about speeding.

A couple of forward facing truvelo cameras on the approach to Silverstone (only one coming from the M40 direction).

i wouldnt be speeding nr silverstone, thinking more of the approach run on the M40/M1 on the friday night (have a 3 day ticket)
