Ditto - is it worth starting a fresh thread or at least a new poll on dates as some of the posted ones will be no good anymore (eg last w/end and probably too short notice for most on the 9th?)

Lets get this moving - there must be enough people interested to make it worthwhile?

Any date is fine for me as i drive past the area twice a day going to and from work.

If we're sticking to Sundays the only ones I can make this side of September are July 9th, July 16th, and August 6th.

Hi people, personally the 30th July or the 6th August would be ideal for myself, but in truth any day would be good as I'm only a five minute drive from the venue, if the venue as mentioned is still acceptable? www.oyster-quay.co.uk

Also if the Conservatory is required at the Oyster Quay for those wanting to eat, the Carvery is really good, I will have to know the date in advance so as to book it. There is also a normal menu aswell.

So, as I say, as soon as a date has been agreed, let me know and I can make arrangements.

Sounds fine to me. What is parking like there on a Sunday, it would be nice if all those attending could park together.

The car park is quite large, +- 100 cars, and free by the way. On the weekends it can be quite busy but most of the people that go to the Marina come from out of town, so usually most have left by 9/10 o'clock.

I'm pretty sure that we will be able to congregate together with the cars.

Looks like Sunday 6th August is the day then for the GTG as per majority vote...

However, on Sat 5th August we have a wedding that we have to attend and wont be heading back home until late Sunday and it is up north... Guess I'll have to give this GTG a miss unless I can get out of it...
