Might as well have lunch there - it sounds like a nice place and it's a fair drive there and back :)

Will

Just keeping an eye on things. So it looks like a definate Sun 06/08/06 then? Excellent......

I will need numbers by next weekend so I can confirm with Mike, (Manager) hopefully the numbers will have grown by then. I'm going to provisionaly book for 20 guests in the Conservatory, don't forget if most of us eat we will get a couple of complimentary bottles of wine for each table. Also we will have the place to ourselves. The Bar is out one door & the 1st floor verandah is out the other.

For those who want to stay late, the bar pretty well stays open till the last person, usually me.....lol.....

Just thought I would mention, there is a Camping/Caravan Park right next door, so for the more adventurous.........

Hope to see lots there.......

Cheers, Bill.
:)

Bill, I'll be there (including lunch). Just off on hols for 2 weeks in France so will be "offline" whilst final arrangements are made. See you on the 6th. Jim

What time should we arrive and any special hints about parking, please?

It's a possible, but I may be otherwise indisposed...depends on when I'm picking up the Integra.

EDIT - Looks like I'm free for this one! See y'all there :D

Hello MangoMan: is everything going ahead as planned, please? And once again what time should we arrive and any special hints about where to park, please?

Hi Guys, sorry but I've been indispossed the last couple of weeks and pretty much incomunicado. But I'm back now...........

Right getting right onto the questions, after this quick note, I have cancelled the booking for the Conservatory, this because the numbers don't warrant doing so, I'm sorry but they like to have 20+ numbers, and it looks like only around 12 will be making it. But not to worry I'm sure there will be enough seating to go around for those that want to eat, sit down etc.

Right, basically you can arrive anytime you want, they open at 9am. anyway and start serving the Carvery around 12pm. But you can get food and drinks before that, it's pretty 'Laid Back'

As far as parking goes, there is usually lots near the gate as you drive in, a bit more congested the nearer the Jetties you get. Obviously we will want to park as close together as possible, so whoever arrives first get a spot where there is a few empty spaces around. I will be there from about 10am. onwards.

If you are all going to have lunch I will try and book enough seats together either in the Bar or Conservatory, but I must know exact numbers, (well near enough) by TOMORROW 4PM. (Friday).

I have checked the Weather Forecast, doesn't look too bad, 26*C. and partly cloudy. So hopefully it's right......lol. :)

So all I can say further is, is that I hope you all have a safe journey and we'll see you there.

Ciao for now, Bill.
;)

I hope you all have a lovely time.
Would have loved to have come as its only 1/2 hr away but will be at Brands for the world superbikes.
Maybe next time.
Mac.

Half an hour in a CLK 55.......maybe, for mere mortals slightly longer perhaps !

That's a real shame Mac, I would have loved for you to have taken me for a 'burn' in your '55'. I will most probably be there late into the evening if you fancy popping in. Enjoy the bikes anyway.

Ciao, Bill.
:):):):)

I used to ride the damn things at one stage, the last being a 'Kat'. But my most interesting was a Kawasaki H2 750 'Trip'......... Awesome power, but not bloody brakes!!!!!!! Scary shit!!!!!!!

Ciao.

Might just do that if its not too late coming back.
Last time I was home by 5.00 after going to Brands to see the DTM and that was after going via Andover to drop a friend off.

If you PM me your mobile no. I could call prior to save a wasted journey perhaps.
Mac.

Notice the single front disc, and a drum on the rear, in actual fact, 'scary' isn't the word!!!!!!!

Sorry, ciao.

I'll shut up now.........
;)
