Yes, a very nice drive! I particularly enjoyed the high up bit as I live in such a flat area. Some impressions of the day:

Trapper John can be relied upon to entertain!

Why was that woman beside her car vomitting?

Why was every policeman in the area stopping cars in Euxton?

Why did that biscuit-y thing try to kill me?

As I peeled off to go north on the A565 away from Southport, there was the most beautiful full rainbow straight in front of me.

Thank you for organising that Meldrew2, a pleasant end to the convertible season... And actually I arrived at 11.42 allowing for getting lost but decided petrol was required...

As I peeled off to go north on the A565 away from Southport, there was the most beautiful full rainbow straight in front of me. Yes - we saw that in the mirrors - the colours were very vivid.

I have to tell you, I'm in my office which is off a larger open plan office and my door is open. Thinking of the Olive Fandango made me make Muttley laughing noises and I had to go out to the main office to explain to the lads what I was laughing about as otherwise they might have thought I was crying!

John makes low bow of deep apology. And has cancelled his Equity Card for juggling. But I must say the banter thereafter was epic. When Lisa points a finger at you and commands "Don't Move" I tell you folks, you don't move. I had been watching a Dirty Harry movie clip prior to my journey and I didn't know if she had fired five or had she fired six. I had no intention of making her day.
