Special offers from PCS, Eurocharged and Celtic Tuning on May the 16th at BOTG

Hi Gareth,

I will write you down for the first one to be done 9am sharp!

Kind Regards
Natacha

Cheers Natacha, hate to have to run but its the first time he's been down since December. I will be there for 9am for sure.

I have emailed in a query re: Sat. would it possible for someone to respond when possible please?

Any more takers on the re-maps?

50% off a map from eurocharged is the deal of the century!

Are you booked up for gearbox oil changes?

Just curious to know.

I am a bit far away, and planning to go to an event is a bit difficult at present, but if I could just drop in on spur of the moment, that is more my style.

I have no space left for that I'm afraid.

Will be happy to do it for you another time though.

So is that about £250 on an Slk55? I might be interested, depends on price I guess. Already booked in for other work :D

50% off the web prices on the EC website

SLK55 : SLK55 AMG Performance Engine Software

Hmmm, glad I picked the C55, and not the SLK55. No doubt there's a damn good reason for the difference ? Same number of HP increase, but from a lower BHP starting point with the SLK, for almost £200 extra before discounts

Is the C55 supercharged, that would explain a difference since you can get a lot more out of an engine that isn't naturally aspirated? In terms of outright power, you have the remember that the SLK is very light, even stock the bhp per tonne is just silly :). Does seem like a lot of cash for just a 20-30bhp increase. Most mods seem very expensive for this car, probably because it is so tricky to work with. Will have a think!

My C55 is N/A although a bit of a tank in comparison to an SLK, but I thought these cars shared the same basic engine ? But I've only been M'Benzed for a few weeks so I could be completely wrong :dk:

It is the same lump but its a different car, hence the differences.

So finally sorted - booked in for code reading, 7 speed box fluid change and eurocharged remap. Can't wait :D

Sent my email to confirm, so hopefully it is booked in for the remap too? Didn't get a reply. Just me worrying, probably fine :)

What a fantastic day, and unbelievable value for money! ... So glad I came earlier than allocated slot too ;)

Shame I had to dash back and couldn't stay.

Thanks Olly and guys for brilliant service, as usual.

Well, fantastic service and you have gained a customer - I will be in touch to discuss future servicing arrangements.

I wasn't sure whether to get the auto box done, especially with many people saying it makes little difference. Rubbish, the box is shifting absloutely seamlessly now and I certanly put it through its paces on the drive back.

I also wasnt sure about the remap, but also glad I did that. The car is so much more responsive and lively now - glad I got the auto box done with this tbh because it seems to shift more frequently now. I can definitely feel the extra power.

I still can't believe the prices!

Thanks once again for a brilliant day. It was great meeting you all.

A big thanks to Ollie, Jack and team for organising the meet. Next time I plan to get my name down early and bring the family. These guys certainly know there cars and I was thankful for the checkover and advice plus fixing a loose exhaust heat shield! I will be popping back when work needs to be done. All the best Erfan
