Mercedes CLK 240 2004
Hi guys

Any recommendations on specilaist in the Essex or surrounding areas.

To cut a long story short my W209 clk 240 use to ride so smooth now its so uncomfortable I literally can feel ever bump in the road and still on standard 16s alloys.

I also forgot to add that I have an annoying crunking creaking sound from the rear, I have also taken it to two specialist who can't seem to find any problems at all.

I know its not the shocks, spring or mounts as these have been changed last week and its still as bad

Thanks in advance

Essex is a big place which side you near?

London/Essex area if that helps but don't mind travelling a bit

You could try PMW Ltd in Chelmsford. 01245 496739. Specilaise in BMW/Mercedes and Porsche.

www.pmwltd.co.uk

Used them for many years and always found them fair and honest.

or Suki @ PCS in forest gate 07831348015, ex MB tech who i use.

cheers guys gem tech are only a 10 minute drive and PMW are only 5 minutes from my work. I didnt even know they were there. Any one got an email for gem tech

thanks again

Terry

Waterhouse is another in Chelmsford.

+1 for Gemtech.....give them a call

I've emailed pmw and will call gemtech in the week thanks again all

Bill Schrader is another good bet I have not used him but others have with seemingly positive results in both workmanship and price. Bill has plenty of experience in the trade in regards MB cars.

I believe contact details are available on the Merc Seller website!

I second that, Richard and John know their stuff, are very accommodating, helpful and a couple of nice guys,

Terry.

I have a slight juddering on braking, so thought I might pop into Gem Tech and get them to have a look, Im literally 5 minutes up the road from them. If I mention your name Terry, will that be OK?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, mention my name by all accounts, but you will recieve the same treatment from them whether you are known to them or not, they really are two of the nicest Mechanics I have ever come across in 30 odd years of using mechanics,

Good luck,

Terry.
