Speed Signal in 2002 E class

Hello.

I'm after some help with fitting an Audio 30 APS, BE4715, in my 2002 E class estate. Can the navigation unit be programmed to read the speed signal from the CAN bus or do I need to connect the speed signal to connector A pin 1 ? If I need to connect the speed signal wire, where is it located and what colour wire is it? Will the dealer will have to programme the multifunction display to show the navigation directions or is this something I can do?

It will need a speedsignal on A1 - look for a dead end green/black wire in your pass side sill between seat and A-pillar (there should be 3 dead end green colored wires - you need the one with the black line)...

The dealer has to activate nav in the IC - you cannot do that yourself.
