Speeding Awareness Course........

OK, so my insurance is due..... Sorted out a good deal online... Got a call to discuss it, one question was about the courses.... I said no(my choice)... He got my driving licence number to check things over, like they do.
Another incident flagged up{irrelevant and no problem)... Nothing else... Clean license and nothing came back after their checks.

Just saying.

But he did ask the question and you mislead him by lying? Hopefully there will never be a reason for them to look more closely at your responses...

Like I said on my original post. The courses and insurance aren't interlinked.
I'm not concerned.

I've never been asked about speed awareness courses or for driving licence details for insurance purposes.

I wouldn't tell a barefaced lie as part of my application for cover.

They may not be but you deliberately mislead your insurer. If you were not concerned why did you fail to disclose you had attended a SAC? If the insurer didn't think it a material fact why did they bother asking?

Just saying...

Because, as i've said numerous times, and i'll repeat again for your benefit, speed awareness courses and insurance aren't interlinked.
it's a scam on the insurance companies to get more money out of you, admit it and they'll increase your premium...because thats what insurance companies do...don't tell them and they are non the wiser.

I did the course and the course people told us(first hand not 3rd,4th 5th, bloke in the pub hand) that they don't pass the information on to insurance companies.

You do what you feel you need to do, i'll keep my feet well and truly on the ground and not up high on my horse scaremongering.

This is what I do and what i've heard from the experts 1st hand, i'm not telling others what to do, I don't pretend to be the expert some people think they are.
