Speedo fault and limp mode

Hi all
I have just bought a Vito cdi 115 and I love it. However it has a Speedo fault. The needle doesn’t move but it shows a digital Kph reading. Also when I tow occasionally it puts a engine management light on and goes into limp mode. Which if I turn off the ignition clears. Any ideas?

Obd scan would help to diagnose it.

You’ll probably need to find another speedo.

the lateral acceleration sensor sends signals to the ESP controller to determine the lateral forces on the wheels. Check the connectors and/or swap it out as it is probably faulty

I do not know where it is in the Vito, perhaps in the central console, but that is a total guess.
Hopefully someone on here will have experienced the problem and will know the location
