Born in Swansea,one of my favourite bands "keep on running". the music will live on.

Hugely influential band of the mid and late '60s. Both their first hits were penned by Jackie Edwards, a friend of Chris Blackwell who had founded Island Records. I was a great Island records fan at the time, as they were really mainstream R&B, with the reggae stuff consigned to subsidiary labels. Free and ELP were particular favourites. RIP Spencer.

A claim to fame: in 1966 the band I was in played on the same stage as the Spencer Davis Group.

unfortunately it was 24 hours after their appearance....

The band I’m in now plays a cover of Keep on Runnin’.
