Splitfire, spring adjuster

Has anyone heard or used these, or have any opinions on them.

Looking at a cheap, low hastle way of stiffening up the springs a bit.

I had a BMW with a saggy rear end and put tennis balls in the springs. Worked of a fashion. Were still there when i disposed of the car.
