Spotted coming out of Reading on the A4 towards Twyford was this Ferrari 250 GT SWB with the Reg No FX9
After a bit of googling, it turns out to have been owned by the Downton Engineering who to anyone familiar with Mini Coopers, Downton were the premier tuners of Mini Coopers back in the 60's
Whoever has FX9 and was driving it yesterday when I spotted it is a) a very lucky person and b) sounded fabulous as they were really giving it some down the A4.
This is the second time in under a year that I've seen a Ferrari 250 GT SWB being driven down the A4 heading out of Reading, the last time it was 620 UXM and that again was being given the beans and sounded magnificent
