On the way to Lands End in Cornwall yesterday saw a Mercedes Evolution for sale in what appeared to be Met Black with a sticker price of GBP 8995.I was driving so it was hard to pick out too much detail.I was following the A30 to Lands End near the Mousehole turnoff after the village of drift (aptly named) and came into a very small village not sure of the name but the garage appeared to be a Merc specialist as there were a couple of other Mercs including a nice Black G wagen.Sorry I cant be more helpful just thought I would mention it as they are quite rare and it looked nice.

And for that price,is cheap to.Was it an evo1 or 2?

Wonder if that's the Evo I that's been advertised elsewhere for £7495? If so, it's been discussed at the 190 forum and consensus was it needs a fair bit of work.

What would the differences be ?

Could I notice from a brief drive by ?

It was wearing these alloys

The evo2 has a wide bodykit and also a very big spoiler on the boot.

I saw the same car when on holiday and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Dave!

That`s an evo1 but the alloys came from evo2:thumb:

Only just saw this thread by chance :o

The place where the car is located is known as 'Buryas Bridge', and the garage is 'Buryas Bridge Garage'.

Nigel is the chap who owns the garage and his MB-tech that he employs is a member on this forum ;)

I've seen and driven the very car that is discussed here, it's a genuine 2.5-16 Evolution I wearing Evolution II 'Ceginus' wheels.

FWIW, there's been more than a few rare old MBs at this place. There's been a handful of 500E/E500s and I've seen other nice cars there such as a RHD W202 C55 AMG and Nigel's own creation of a G-wagen with a 5.6 V8 fitted and four recaro Classic-C seats etc.

Is this guy not on the net Will?

Not really, I've spoken to Linds about 190E stuff a few times.
