As I said months back, he is not taking on new customers.

I would guess anyone in London is having to pay Massive additional business property taxes (or whatever they are called ) than sunny Manchester ?

I guess so, but it is only a guess as it all depends on where the garage is.
The nearest indy to us is in Sidcup. I've not used for him for years but he was
a lot
more expensive than a general mechanic, i used to have the oil and filter (I purchased genuine MB oil/filter/washers) changed on my gle (previous 8 years of service on my car from
new was by MB - the cars been over-serviced as its just done on 24k miles)

But you have a point and I guess they have to pay their mechanics a bit more as well. Our local MB garge is chaging about 220 an hour labour and that was about 14/16 months ago.

You have a very good Mercedes indy in Harrow NW London that has been used and recommended many time on here.
Give him a try. It might save you a trip to Sidcup.
