As the title suggests i want to spray all of my callipers red, however finding someone in the local area who will store the car and do a good job covering seals etc is proving harder than i thought. I did look at brakecaliper refurbs however they require the callipers for three weeks and i have to take them of my car. This won't be a problem, however i would rather just leave it somewhere for someone to do.

Can anyone suggest anywhere in the London/Herts area who could do a good job?!

I know one member did a cracking job on here on his c63 however i wouldn't trust myself with a spray can and covering the important bits.

Also peoples opinions on doing this on a non Performance Pack Car.

For your imagination the car is a magnetite black coupe with the 19inch black and silver multi spoke wheels, de catted and Eurocharged so its not stock if that makes any difference to people when deciding if its a good idea or not... I know its personal preference etc....

Cheeeers

I like the red calipers especially on a black car.

I would approach a decent bodyshop/car sprayer and ask if they would take the job on. It can't be that hard to for them to mask everything up and do a decent job.

I just put mine on axle stands and did it myself. Brought the proper heat proof paint and laquer, got the decals off eBay and went for it. Not actually as hard as you'd think masking everything up. I obviously took all the pads and pins out beforehand.

Brake Caliper specialist Nottingham. It's an AMG do it properly

I really don't even trust myself to take things apart I would need a bit of help with that. Ideally I just want to give it to a company in London/Herts and let them do it for a few days. I know if I did it myself I would screw something up!!!

I personally would steer clear of autowerks they made a complete mess of some alloys on my old car. The paint flaked within weeks and they lied to me about timings and base coat used on them. My experience they can't paint for s@@t!

Google RT perfomance .They based near Wembley stadium.Bodyshop and customisation specialist.Lots of happy members of Nissan 350/370z...They always have proper sports cars there.

Chavvy red calipers rule, especially on a black car where they stand out :thumb:.

I adore big red calipers. I know I'm sad but love driving alone side a car on the motorway. That's when they really stand out.

They don't look great on boy racer cars when the owner has painted the whole rear drum.

Ant. :D
