Spring Compressor

Having purchased a set to change the rear springs on my W202 I am happy to "hire" it out to other members for a modest fee (say £10 per week) who wants to do the same.

It should fit W116,W123, W124, W126, W129, W140, W170, W201, W208, W210 and W211.

I am in South London/Surrey but will be happy to send out for cost of postage.

Yes, spring compressor still available for "hire"

Lately I have received several PM's asking if the above spring compressor is still available for "hire". The answer is yes, I still have this tool and would be happy to continue to help out fellow MB Club members.

Since the above posting, I have also acquired the Klann KL-0025 spring compressor from Mercedes (part number MB 202 589 02 3100K) - this is a short version of the normal spring compressor with the new spindle overload protection pin. This tool is ideal for the rear axel springs and/or lowered suspensions for the "W107, W114, W115, W116, W123, W126, W129, W140, W170, W171, W201, W202, W210, W211 rear axles".

So now there is choice between the normal spring compressor or the shorten version - hopefully the right tool for the right job!
