Sprint booster

Are you aware that it does nothing for performance, actually reducing it slightly?

I had one fitted to a 535d and it made it almost undriveable.

The throttle was too sensitive causing the rear wheels to spin when pulling away

I wouldn't bother

I really dislike it, instead of a natural progressive throttle it becomes over sensitive and the last 50% of pedal travel does nothing.
It's almost undriveable when wearing work boots.

Have driven C320, E430 and E320cdi all with sprint booster and hated all 3.

Lots of people on the forum have fitted them and then sold them on.

If you want to go faster, push the pedal harder.

Haha, nice advice, but this isn't Europe where the rozzer's pull you up for driving slow on the motorway

Actually I was thinking about making the pedal more responsive. So I wanted to give the sprintbooster a try.

I've heard that it has the green and red modes.. Is there a big difference between the two?

There 3 modes, clear light (light not on) that's normal mode, Green light is more eco, red light is aggressive.

For a used Sprint Booster 2nd Generation, what is considered as a good price?

Do you guys know whether the 2nd gen will fit on a 2005 W220?
