Might be an ASCAR chassis under there. The door bars are a clue. The suspension is all adjustable with rose joints, adjustable height Panhard rod, etc. The guys at Driftworks are building an AE86 body onto an ASCAR chassis

I think you'll get better results with a race car that includes an engine ;)

You always sell race cars without an engine see the Interesting conversion thread also a 190e chassis on an Astra Mk2 no engine.

The MB in question in the OP has been posted before I've seen it in the flesh, its owned by a very famous works rally driver. It's real good value for what it is but needs some work to make it raceable. I've got a couple of Cosworth engines I'm dying to drop into something :D but as I have 2 race cars already I think I would be in divorce territory if I started a 3rd :D

Hope someone puts it back to its former glory though:thumb:
