Sprinter fitting double seat and base

Hi Everyone,


i wonder if anyone can help, i have purchased a sprinter 2004 311 cdi lwb with a walk through box body on, it came with a single passenger seat and base. I need to convert it to a double seat and know that I can purchase genuine second hand double seats and bases on ebay. Having pulled up the carpet where the extra double seat base would fit there does not seem to be any predrilled holes for the double base to be connected to. Has anyone out there changed a single seat to a double seat if so can you give any advice or tell me how the double seat base is fitted and whether they had to drill out the hole to fit.

Hi,

I'm looking to swap my double for a single. From what I have read, the bases are a straight swap without any drilling. Are you still looking? Maybe we could swap?
