Sprinter Speaker Upgrade

Hi everyone,

I have a 2001 Mercedes Sprinter 314 campervan. Like all Sprinters of this age the van comes with 4" speakers in the dash only. As you can imagine this does not provide the greatest sound in such a big cab. I am looking at ways to fit more speakers but I am hoping someone here has done it before and can offer advice. The obvious places are in the door and the headlining. I have a four way amp to install so I can run a lot of speakers.

Virtually anything is possible dependant on budget…a specialist installer will even fabricate new door cards, make roof pods and custom mounts.
For cost effective solutions~I know overhead consoles can be bought for the Sprinter so maybe one without cut-outs would be an easy solution. Mounting rings to attach to doors are readily available in different sizes and don't forget powered subs that go under the seats.
One thing that would make a big difference is sound deadening.
