hi everone in new to this so if im wrong please accept my apologies hi i have a 2018 new shape sprinter and have had to have a second-hand steering rack fitted due to Mercedes not having any anywhere in the world they need to be custom ordered and theres at least a 16 week waiting time for a new one. the van is now showing on the dash a little red steering wheel with an apostrophe and a message steering malf. increased physical effort but everythings working fine? no resistance whatsoever on the steering, i have spoken to Mercedes as my mechanic says the rack needs coding to the van but Mercedes say it dosent can anyone give ma any advice or help in this matter please
