Hi all,
I've noticed a loud squealing noise when I turn the steering wheel full lock to the left or right.

What is it and what can I do about it?

Thanks :)

Check your power steering fluid level. If it's low it will squeal.
Check your belt on the pump as well.

Thanks, where's the belt located?

I suspect the power steering belt is located on the pulley for the power steering pump? If you cannot find this? (there are lots of clues...ie follow the pipes from the steering rack etc) I would suspect you do not touch anything in the engine bay, and take it to a local garage?
Just to add, lots of belts will squeal when under maximum pressure, as the pump is maxed out, and the steering will obviously not turn anymore. I would probably not worry too much just yet.
