SRS problem

I've just swapped front double bench for single seat in my van.Obviously had to disconnect the plugs from middle seat belt tensioner.Since then the SRS light still's on on the cluster.What's the solution?Thanks in advance

I believe your options are to purchase a seat sensor adapter (stupid option if you ask me) or to have your SRS coded to match your current configuration. The latter does not cost anything (if you get free diagnosis time from a forum friend).

If the car came with a child seat recognition sensor, I would put the old seat back or make it very very clear that a child seat is not allowed in the car any more.

I'm not sure about "child seat recognition sensor".Seem not to be any more than basic model.Don't want to go back for double bench (single one more comfortable) so I'll try to match SRS to new configuration.Thanks for advice.

I went to Prestige(SE London)-they couldn't do it,went to SG Smith (Sydenham)-the same.Any other ideas?Is it worth to check MercRepairs in Croydon?Please help.I don't mind to travel to sort it out.
