For the past few weeks I have been having a problem with my 320 ML, the SRS warning light coming on and going out after 10 -15 mins.

Yesterday, I realised it was after a passenger in the front seat got out the warning light would come on.

I have read before on this site, about a pressure pad on the passenger seat, does anyone know if this can be fixed, and how, and what I should be looking for.

Thanks in advance Wobbly

Check the cable that plugs into the underside of the passenger seat :)

I have checked under the seat, and there is quite a few cables and connections under there. They all seem connected, any ideas which is the cabling for the pressure pad?

Still need HELP, any ideas

I have one on my car. All I know is that the passenger seat has a pressure sensor that recognises when a child seat (MB type) is installed and disables the passenger airbag. I assume that under such conditions, the SRS Disabled light would come on. Do you have this light on the centre console and does it go on then off during the startup diagnostic tests. It seems like the system is getting a false signal warning of a child seat, although it should not disable if a regular passenger is sitting there.
I find also that if my passenger moves around in their seat, I hear a sound similar to that of the lock/unlock mechanism working although the door lock buttons do not move up or down. Has anyone else a similar experience, is this normal and is this associated with the passenger airbag disable mechanism.

I have a similar problem, except the SRS light comes on when the passenger sits in the seat. Still, as long as my airbag works I can collect the insurance on my better half......

Seriously, will have to get it fixed at the next service if waggling the wires doesn't do it, porbably going to be expensive, so the dodgy temp readout will have to wait.
