Staithes Garage Newcastle

Having given up on Merc Newcastle I visited Staithes as recommended by a mechanic friend of mine.
Turned up at 8.45 to find the owner, Phil, with queue of cars being dropped off, very friendly. He asked if I would like a lift to the Metro centre, which I took up, he then came to pick me up from there at 12.30 with the Job done.
No fuss, easy and half the price of Mercedes(Crazy as he gets his parts from them!)
So Thumbs up to PHil and the guys at Staithes, you will be seeing much more of me from now on.....hopefully not too much though

Another good trip to Staithes, New shocker fitted after mine gave up, had a great chat with Phil, who is thinking of doing a Hyabusa conversion on a Smart roadster, now that I would like to see!
As usual not expensive, great service and you come away with a feeling that your car has been cared for by the best.

Had my ML serviced with Phil yesterday, first time since I bought the car last year. Always a nervey time after buying a used car for most.

What can I say - Phil continues to get 5 stars in my book, a perfect B service of my car, spotting some minor work and attending to what needed doing (renewed injector seals, rear wiper probs).

Had some great chatter with some of Phil's other customers while I was waiting about why we love our MBs (some being gluttons for financial punishment!).

The place was heaving with trade and quite rightly so - couldnt recommend the garage and its staff high enough. Friendly knowledgeable blokes with their fingers on the pulse.

10/10 Phil and his staff!

Had our 2009 A-Class serviced yesterday. Wifey dropped it off and she was mightly impressed with the service she and the car received!! Much MUCH cheaper than 'rip-off' Mercedes Scotswood. We will be back for our next service. Thank you.

Just got my E55 and been looking thro threads to find a good indi near Teesside but I fear their are none ...........so Im pleased to see this post . I will be havin a run up when I have any servicing needs .

Just been searching for Staithes Dunston on here and although I've only dealt with them for a few (minor) things I found them spot on and would recommend if you're in the NE, be it a standard Merc or an AMG.
