Hello All,
Could you help with SD C4 isssue? Last time I bought this stuff. Everything look fine, works but I'm not able to connect via WiFI. The computer doesn't see the multiplexer :(. I changed the IP numbers but still no connection. Inside the C4 multiplexer is place for the 6 batteries. I haven't these battteries inside. Is it possible that this is the reason of missing connection.

Thank you in advance
Best regards
Pederozo :)

Has it got the wifi card installed in it ? Is it genuine or a Chinese clone ?

Hi,
Good question :). Let's say I don't think so that it's a Chinese clone. Looks like an oryginal one. There's installed DAS-Xentry, EPC, WIS, the software for multiplexer... For me it's really strange that the WiFi doesn't work :(. I think it should, but of course 'am not a specialist in such a stuff. Any other idea? Thanks a lot in advance

Id guess the PCMCIA wifi card is not installed The slot is big and visible when you take the end off (which you take off in order to get to the cover of the battery slot)

A couple of photos to help you.

Hi,
Darnott thanks for the photos! Richard thanks for the answer! The WiFi card is installed inside. There are only 6xbatteries missing inside the muliplexer. So haven't any idea if the batteries could be the reason of missing WiFi connection, but I will implement them and I'll try once again. What can I do more? Maybe any others settings...?? For me it's really curious but probably to hard for me :). Best regards

Sounds like you are running the SW on an ordinary laptop. None of the genuine tablet computers have EPC installed. Still this is only about the computer, the multiplex would not have EPC etc. but from the previous I bet it is a clone. Let us have the mux serial number (or PM it if afraid of posting).

So frustrating when MB owners often think they have genuine tools, made in France because it reads so on the shiny label attached to the tool...

You do not need batteries to run the mux via WLAN, not even when configuring the mux (certain tasks are not possible without batteries but so far I would say "good for you").
