Sorry, just looked at the fault, prob want to try Ollie at PCS, he is blackc55 on here...
 
I would definitely have taken the car to Olly (i'm taking my own car there soon) but the GF needs her car pronto and we can't make a trip to Portsmouth.

Surely in the whole of London/Surrey there must be someone?
 
I think Yates is open till 12 on a Saturday ? Not sure though ....

He said not for repairs...

I could make early morning weekday in London (north or central) but not Oxshott on a weekday.

Thanks for the help, really wnat to get this diagnosed and then fixed.

I'm fearing a trip to Merc may be the best bet.

Are we talking about the same Yates ? Tudor Road in Hampton ?
 
Merc Diagnostic Geezer covers london to scotland

I use a bloke who i found on tinternet, his name is dean, and williamsdiesels.com is his page (not sure if i caqn put his mobile). Own a courier co in London and 17 311/313/316 CDI Sprinters, iv used a back street garage, lost bundles of dollar and same fault, iv used a dealer, lost bundles of dollar and time and more dollar as they just put parts on for parts sake. So i found this bloke, Dean, a god, and a top bloke, "start error" Merc wanted £1200, i needed a ecu and wsp, vehicle was in newcastle. Phoned Dean up, he told me to order a wsp, collected it, travelled up to newcastle, fitted it, programmed it, and it was done on the 4th day, 3 days for wsp to come. Many more praises i could sing, but for anyone with a sprinter, in London id recomend williamsdiesels.com all day long.
