Is it possible to get a third column under the start > all programs entry. I have more programs than be shown in two columns.

As more programs are added, more columns will be added by default. If you think you are not seeing everything try setting your resolution up higher to display the other programs.

have you thought of deleting icons you dont use? how many times do you use that shortcut to a help file on a program you installed 3 years ago? I have millions of progs installed and have 6 folders, media stuff, cad, everything else, system, internet and startup, everything fits in those catagories, also this will release more system memory as all those shortcuts have to be stored somewhere.......

If its windows XP , right click to the right of the start menu , go to properties and click on the start menu tab allong the top . Click on customize and then put a tick in use personalised menus.

This will cut back the amount of programs based on the ones used frequently. Once it works out the common ones , two arrows pointing downwards will appear.

Thanks everyone for your replies. :bannana:
