Hi all, I’ve recently replaced the small o-rings on the little box that feeds the high pressure fuel pump on my 220d (611) problem I now have is that after it’s sat for a while it will start and then die and will take a few cranks to eventually fire ! But runs as sweet as a nut afterwards. Is there an air lock I need to address ?

Bubbles are not due to air lock, but there is still a leak somewhere. All clips tight, fuel filter lines no brittle, return lines no brittle (hard to see...), injector leaks within range...?

So above, all I’ve changed is the two o-rings in these fittings ? Excuse the cable ties the clips being brittle snapped but it was glued them and cable ties just to be sure

I would replace those clear hoses, might as well do all of them while at it. They are supplied in correct length with new clips from dealer. They are notorious for letting air in, basically consumable parts on these cars.
