My W124 E220 occassionally stalls when started.. This happens no matter the engine is cold or warm...
After I turn the key, the car starts immediately but when I let go of the key, sometimes the car struggles to keep *alive* and revs may drop a little then bounce back up... Sometimes the car just stalls.. However, sometimes it is perfectly ok.
Now, everytime i start the engine, i would tap on the throttle slightly to keep the revs up, but i am aware that this is not good for the engine.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this problem? Would it be the engine oil (I haven't changed it for ages)...
Thanks,
Jeff
