Went out to the Merc this morning and lent in and switched the ignition on, waited about 10secs and started her up. She came to life and after about 10secs she stalled. then it took several goes to get her started again, but once started she was fine abeit was only ticking over at normal revs - seemed to be no increase in revs, as in cold start.

Have I got a problem, or just one of those things ?

Will see if it happens again in the morning as temperature is forecast the same again -7c according to the dash.

its the weather causing things like valves to stick... Ive got a 206 diesel here, that did the same yesterday, took ages to get it going..
