I've got a '96 E320 with leather and aircon. I have never had a car before where the windows have steamed up so much and so readily (no funny comments, please!!!) when the fan is turned on.

Anyone else had this problem? Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

Have you tried leaving the aircon on when using the fan? Aircon usually removes any moisture from the atmosphere so you shouldn't get steamy windows.

My last E 280 used to do that but only with the Aircon OFF.

So try it both ways to be sure M8

Check the pollen/cabin filter, they can get dirty and damp and cause problems.

Why does this topic make my mind go mad with jokes about the initial topic and also the solutions suggested
