Stearing Box Replacment

The stearing Box is showing signs of wear, has anyone done a swap ?, My car is a W124.

Any advise welcome

You can adjust out the slack, and they can be rebuild fairly cheaply.

I've just done that this morning, I've replaced eveything now appart from the box and never had anything to do with them.

You've adjusted the box?

Fit new seals and set it up properly.
