Steel Wheels R107

I would like to change my current size 14'' Bundt wheels for a old steel wheels with chrome trims (Classic look) looking around I have the option of going for 14'' or 15'' steel wheels with chrome hubs/trims. Would 15'' wheels be suitable for R107 please?

Yes, 15" wheels would be a better way to go as there are more tire choices for 15" wheels that are more suitable for the weight and speed ratings of an R107. 15" hub caps might be harder to come by.

I think the 15 inch hub caps were fitted to the 600 Grosser and not much else, so they are hard to come by and expensive too.

Pretty sure the 15'' with hubcaps was the route taken by Charles Morgan for his W114 restoration. It is a long thread to wade through for a snippet of info though. Perhaps someone remembers this and can verify?...

15 clearly looks better for r107, but hubcaps are hard to find and expensive.
