I did a search for steering wheels for the CL500, as I liked the wood/leather option, but my car doesnt have it.

Nothing in the UK yet (looking for a used one)but there are new wheels from the US for $600, which is too much for me ATM, having spent my loot on Group 20 insurance and a warranty. Also I would have to do the bomb disposal thing with the airbag, and swap out all the switches.

there are also clip over caps available, from Hong Kong.

I rather suspect these will turn out to be cheap and nasty, but has anyone seen one? I reckon when they say wood they mean plastic.

I reckon the original leather covered wheel would be better, as I say I'm just curious whether anyone has actually seen and felt one of these.
