Decided to get my shiny wheel re-trimmed having sourced a spare wheel.

Just fitted it, and very happy with the look. Combination of perforated leather to match the seats, and carbon leather to match my carbon DIY wrapping. And a new centre badge to finish the look off.

Took me an hour all told, and I disconnected the battery for safety. Easy swap if anyone's considering it.

That looks great. I've been looking at steering wheels on eBay. £200 ish!!!!

Like the effect you have achieve there.

You got any pics of your diy wrapping? I'm thinking of attempting that in my w203.

Very tidy now make mine the same on a £2.78 budget :)

Very nice David, I see you had the interior done in carbon too.:thumb:

I do prefer the silver star in the middle though.

You planning to do the Paddleshift upgrade soon?

Withey, see here for the DIY wrapping:-

Got a guy in Germany to do the wheel wrap (ebay..seller peterson project world). They've done a great job, but it was slow, took 5 weeks all in and he's not the best at replying to emails.

Thanks Joe...yes, would consider the paddle shift upgrade to complete the look. WOuld you know the part numbers I'd need by any chance?
