Just had new LED full carbon steering wheels made by company called Carbonwurks in pool Dorset, very happy

Do the LED's indicate anything or are they just for ambient lighting.
What is the gizmo at top centre?

Come from the same idea as 458 Ferrari steering wheel, the center will let you know petrol,Engine heat,water temp,lap time for track,turbo boost,and lots of other stuff.
The LED lights tell you when to change gear, they start of in green then go up to red and flash to change gear, as I say the same as the steering wheel on 458 Ferrari.
