Many thanks for this thread.

I've been looking for somebody whom I trust with my car, but who is nearer to me than PCS.

I've been more than impressed by Steve and his knowledge, both when I visited last week and when I had some further work done today.

Excellent job done at a very fair price, and with the great touch of customer service of quickly and quietly repairing a couple of extra things that needed to be fixed.

Have been using Steve from last 10 years for my ML270 and lately the S350.
What a great mechanic (and gentleman) he is. Because of him I don't even think of buying any car other than Mercedes. Everyone I have recommended Steve has always praised his knowledge and professionalism.

Steve Garlick is really helpful, I phoned him to tell him my problems with my car (C320 CDI), it had gone into limp mode, he said bring it along so I did, he got me straight in and connect the car to star, fault was inlet port shutoff, expensive job, it was actually knackered inlet manifolds. That aside, I defo recommend Steve Garlick.

Handy thread this!

I'm moving from High Wycombe , Bucks to West Malling and see this chap is only 4 miles from my house! With a hatred of main dealers it'll be handy to have someone local when I pick up my C63amg;)

Mike at MB Medway is in Rochester very close to the railway station very convenient for commuters :)

And the added bonus of Mike is that he can happily give you a good thrashing in the karts up at Buckmore Park if you see fit too!

Plus one for Steve Garlick at Stevenson Mercedes Specialists in Seven Mile Lane. Went there recently for a full service and couldn't fault the treatment that I received. Very reasonable rates too and I'm very happy with everything that's been done.

If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer. Highly recommended.

I have been using Steve for a while now. Fantastic service and a lovely chap too boot

Highly Recommended

I've recently started using services at Stevenson’s Independent Mercedes Benz Specialists at Seven Mile Ln - Mereworth.

I actually found them by accident when my car had the dreaded air suspension fail at the front, I limped the car from Kings Hill to his garage. He fitted me in that day despite being overwhelmingly busy.

I've got a 14-year-old E55 (2003) which i like to keep in tip top condition...I cannot recommend these services highly enough as you can imagine the price for servicing would be high.

It's not often you find a genuine team in which you can fully trust their guidance whilst being look after all the way.

IF you’re looking for Mercedes specialists whereby you want to feel confident in what you get.... this is the place!

Excellent stuff!

I live about 3 miles from Steve which is so much better than going to Tunbridge Wells, where I've been going to an Indy for the last 7 years.

Thanks for passing on this information.

Hi all,
Today I visited Steve on the reviews and positive opinions of you all.
I have now found my new mechanic.
You could not meet a nicer and genuine (Honest)mechanic.
I took my CLK in for a gear box oil/filter change and now I have a smoother car.
A big thank you Steve.

Regards Chris (I hope you enjoyed the donuts)

W203 c320 Cdi sport edition.
Transmissions service done and I can tell you that this guy knows how to hold a spanner
5* service and a nice guy
Cheers Steve

Probably worth mentioning the new address for Steve as he has moved from 7 Mile Lane.

Unit D17 Larkfield Trading Estate, New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent ME20 6SW

As per the above, 01622 815227
Just been round to see them in their new premises.

Is there a good indy in/around Folkestone or is this the nearest place?

Now that Steve's at Larkfield, its a pretty easy 40 mins or less from Folkestone.

Seven Mile Lane was a bit of a pain to get to, but I always found it worthwhile to get to Steve.

Thanks, I'm surprised there isn't somewhere closer in a town as big as Folkestone/Dover but there really doesn't seem to be (it's for the old man's E-class).

Guess its business economics. If you were setting up an MB Indy business would you choose an economically deprived area where half the geographic catchment area is under water?

Another big thumbs up and thanks to Steve for fitting me in at short notice, letting me use his car, and not billing me until he was sure the problem was resolved.
