Have the dreaded sticky steering wheel - any suggestions to clean it please

A baby wipe is my preference. Don't use harsh spirits acohol based dash wipes.

I know this is an old post but wonder if this relates to sticky buttons?
I had it bad on my E class and very slightly on my S class. Any other tips on how to stop it?
Will try the wipes later .. Thanks

Baby wipes, although very effective as a muti purpose cleaner, will strip oils and protective treatments.....

Sounds like the last thing you'd want to use on your baby!?
