On the ML the throttle pedal has started to get sticky, i.e. the tick over is to high. Simple cure stick you toe under pedal and lift it up, not ideal.
Should I lubricate the pivot ? got to be careful as I can see the fly by wire cables, which must be avoided.
Any ideas?

It's a service part (additional item) on the W163, done every few years. I suspect it's often overlooked once out of the franchise dealer network.

What do you mean? change the throttle pedal or just lubricate it?

You could try wd40 on the hinged part, or grease the pin that holds it together.

Looked at the blog and the pedal shown is different to mine,
Mine is a W164 with the sports pedals

Sorry, I read "throttle pedal" and "ML" and joined up dots which weren't there - sorry!!
