Whats the best thing to apply to the rubbers for sticky windows?

WD40?

Grease?

Thanks,

Key

Anybody?

I searched out "Silicone Spray" but no idea which one to buy....

Get some 3 in 1 silicone spray from the makers of wd40 - you'll find it on ebay etc - it works and seems to gradually soften the rubbers too. Good luck!

Hi. I've used RS Silicone contact spray with great success. This question has been asked recently, so do a search on this forum for the list of answers.

Also, while you're at it, you might as well give all the rubbers on your doors and windows a good going over with this spray as they tend to dry out.

I had this issue on one of our Golfs and got a silicone spray from the local VW dealer for a few quid.

Worked a treat.
