I'm still looking for someone to assess and repair my comand system. The two nearest are two and three hours away from me in Norfolk and, being slightly disabled this would be exhausting for me.
I miss my hands free, sat nav and radio.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.

A mobile phone or tablet would give you all of that back, loaded with Waze/Google Maps any Radio app would give you music.
I recommend BBC Sounds.
Manufacturer based sat navs are pretty poor, compared to live downloadable ones!
Good Luck.

Sorry to hear your COMAND is playing up. What exactly is it doing?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for an hour so go force COMAND to close down and start up fresh?

If that doesn’t work then I would suggest contacting the email address and/or telephone number in this post. The same guy (Gabor) repaired COMAND for me and it was a very quick turnaround.

Bobby, when I turn on the unit, it shows the Mercedes logo but, after two minutes ( I've checked) there is a pop and the unit turns itself off. Exactly two minutes later, it turns itself back on with a pop.
That's all it does but, occasionally, the radio plays as if it's off station with lots of static then, turns off again.
Even when I turn off the system, there still seems to be power going through it.
Yesterday, I found where all the modules are, in the passenger footwear so, I'm wondering if one of those is at fault.

Try this guy as that’s very very similar to what happened to my COMAND and is not unusual.
