It's weird, but just from the ad pictures, it 'felt' like an honest car.Given the condition of the roof and the list of potential issues already dealt with, you get some indication as to the care the former owner had taken with it.

It’s very tidy. I’ve checked all the arches and everything. It’s all tip top. I’m not quite used to the passenger seat being located in another post code, but I’m sure I will get used to the space inside

The seller was a very nice man. We chatted and chatted. Mostly about his history with the car. He gave me such a run down and wanted me to know it was an honest car that he never scrimped a thing on. He would then show me in the paperwork. I most likely wouldn’t have seen it if not for this forum and I know he was being hounded. It was bit much for him and being local to each other he preferred it.It's weird, but just from the ad pictures, it 'felt' like an honest car.

Oh definitely. He had the car for quite a while and definitely cared for it. I’m not sure I’ve ever bought a car where they explained so much to me. The SatNav command thing seems an obviously older tech, but it all works and it’s faultless. I thought my C was comfortable and felt decent, likewise with others I’ve had in the past, but you can feel the difference with the E. It might be a barge of a thing but everything feels lovely. It’s definitely got presence on the road too despite its age.Given the condition of the roof and the list of potential issues already dealt with, you get some indication as to the care the former owner had taken with it.
