How easy is it to replace the stone guard film that surrounds the rear wheels on a 2010 CLS and any ideas how much they are. The film on the lower side skirt is a bit frayed in places now so if possible I would like to remove and replace with a new one?

    Thanks

No idea on how easily they come off, perhaps its like vinyl wrap. That said IIRC it costs £30 per side from MB

Remove it by heating with an air gun.

Replace with 3M helicopter tape - fitted it to vulnerable areas on our mountain bikes.

Is there a technique anyone can recommend for removing these with a heat heat gun, low heat best? Scraper? Just dont want to do any damage!

    Thanks

Patience, definitely NO scrapers! Should peel away when adhesive melts.
